I had a brief and very passionate love affair with The Pipettes slightly before and around the release of their album. I remember hearing »I Like A Boy in Uniform (School Uniform)» and taking notice before this, but I promptly forgot about them until »Your Kisses Are Wasted on Me» hit me like an H-Bomb. I went to see them perform, danced and loved every second of it. And then, I forgot them again.
But every now and then, like today, one of their songs make an appearance on my Shuffle, and I smile fondly, remembering that summer fling, wishing it’d never ended.
